In my search for baseball photos, I ran across this one of Babe Ruth sliding into 3rd base. Ossie Bluege is waiting for him on base. Everyone knows who Babe Ruth is but you may not know the player on third. Ossie Bluege was chiefly known for his defensive skills. He led the American League third basemen in double plays for three different seasons. Bluege played his entire career with the Washington Senators.
