The press has followed Presidents for years. Back in 1935, President Roosevelt visited Annapolis. His arrival was in a car not Air Force One.The cadets lined up to greet him

According to the schedule on the FDR Library, President Roosevelt was in town for the Boat Races. He was joined by Mr and Mrs James Roosevelt, Secretary and Mrs. Rexford Tugwell, Mrs. Donner Roosevelt, and others.
